Brief description of the project:

Jointly promoted by PortusPark, the AEP Foundation and CEC/CCIC, APREENDER 3.0 is a structuring project to support entrepreneurship, involving incubation infrastructures and other entities, aimed at stimulating and supporting the creation of new companies.

The APREENDER 3.0 project brings together a set of initiatives for the promotion of innovation, entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit, as a way of being in society, which is not limited or circumscribed to the business environment and business creation; rather, its broader aim is cultural change to foster the spirit of initiative and stimulate creativity, experimentation and detection of new opportunities and business models. These would then encourage qualified and creative entrepreneurship, with a view to creating and developing new technology-based and knowledge-intensive companies. It covers five axes of action that demonstrate a collective nature:

  1. Promote a more enterprising society;
  2. Train people for entrepreneurship;
  3. Create/Stimulate support for the creation of companies;
  4. Boost/Support acceleration, growth and funding for companies;
  5. Disseminate good practices and successes.

APREENDER 3.0 involves science and technology infrastructures, incubation facilities and other entities in the entrepreneurship-boosting ecosystem. Initiatives include detecting, stimulating and supporting entrepreneurship; training for business initiatives and the creation of new companies; and mentoring and coaching initiatives to support the development, incubation and acceleration of innovative ideas, spin-offs and start-ups. Co-funded by the COMPETE - Competitiveness Factors Operational Programme, this project aims to promote innovation and boost a culture of entrepreneurship and risk-taking as part of life, in favour of a spirit of initiative.
