On the 16th and 17th of November, Nonagon – Science and Technology Park of São Miguel, in the city of Lagoa, was the venue for the AZORESTEK – Frontiers of Innovation event.
The aim of the initiative was for a benchmark event connected to technology, business, innovation and entrepreneurship to take place in the autonomous region of the Azores.
This first edition of AzoresTek brought together 400 participants and 64 exhibitors.
Topics covered over the course of the event included the circular economy, unicorn companies, creative industries, financing, good innovation practices and more.
PortusPark had a stand in the exhibition area as part of its Going Global operation, while two of its directors, Professor Emídio Gomes and Engineer Alexandre Rios were on the panel of speakers for the event.
Various members of the PortusPark Network also attended the event: Régia Douro-Park, FeiraPark and the companies Wisecrop,

Techwelf, Farfetch and Fibrenamics.
