“Capitalise to Internationalise” Workshop

PortusPark is organising its PortusPark Going Global Programme!

The aim of the PortusPark Going Global Programme is to enhance the visibility of Portugal’s Norte region, attract investment and leverage the international promotion of the companies and their respective exports.

One of the activities included in the programme is the series of workshops called “Capitalise to Internationalise”. The cycle of workshops took place at several of the PortusPark Network’s Science and Technology Parks, thereby allowing the network’s entire community to get involved in the project.

The “Capitalise to Internationalise” workshops consist of training sessions for companies to help them be able to attract private investments, know how to approach an international investor, showcase their company, handle the negotiation process and attract investment. The sessions were led by speakers and investors with considerable international experience, who shared their skills and knowledge of good practices with the participating companies. Alongside the “Capitalise to Internationalise” workshops, PortusPark is also organising the International Investment Arenas and International Fairs/Exhibitions. These initiatives will let the companies in the PortusPark Network contact investors in Asia, the USA and Europe, as well as giving them the opportunity to attend international fairs and exhibitions.
